THIS HAS BEEN THE HARDEST AWARENESS CAMPAIGN I HAVE EVER WORKED ON.

I had an idea to reach out to various women around the globe who have been diagnosed with cancer. I wanted to get to know them, their story. I wanted to learn about their struggles, their treatment, and their support system.

Many people don't know too many details about cancer, including myself; I don't think you can ever really know enough about it. However having lost family and friends to cancer and being one of the many that is reluctant to get tested or checked for illnesses because of fear, I thought it was best to spread awareness on the issue so that I wouldn't be the only one learning something.

Little did I know that my method of reaching out to these women would lead me to an abundance of emotions and meeting some of the most kindhearted ladies on the planet. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to share their stories with you and hope that this can encourage all of you, both men and women, to get checked for any and all cancer because "prevention and early detection is the best way to go". I know many of you may be reluctant to read their stories but trust me when I say you will not regret it. I have learned so much more than I expected when I first started this project, and for that I am extremely grateful. Reading these ladies' stories will show what the true definition of courage and strength is and that the majority of things that we stress over don't even matter.
